Talk: History, Heritage and Archaeology of Aigas Forest [Aigas] ...

History, Heritage and Archaeology of Aigas Forest

Talk by Roland Spencer-Jones and Anne Coombs

Magnus House, Aigas Field Centre near Beauly

Aigas Community Forest needed an archaeological survey. They invited North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NOSAS) to undertake it. Despite all weathers we walked the forest during the winter of 2015-16, together with Forest volunteers from the local area.
Come to this presentation to find out what we found out! Roland Spencer-Jones and Anne Coombs of NOSAS will share their understanding of the history, heritage and archaeology of Aigas Community Forest. It’s quite a story.
